@jeff_gluck ROVAL has run it’s course and lost the allure. The oval would be a better choice, especially with this car. Doesn’t help the Xfinity series consistently puts on a better show as well

This is probably unfair to say since I'm not there in person, but I've been watching the in-car cams and the crowd looks...light? Is Speedway Motorsports really selling more tickets to the Roval than they would if this race was on the oval? Seems hard to believe.

Trying to explain to my family why cars weren’t on track today- “A few years ago, a man was sadly killed by lightning after a race and the courts ruled it was NASCAR’s fault. So now to get insurance coverage needed to race, we can’t go race, even when it’s not raining; if lightning is a few miles away.” Daughter- “Don’t bad things just happen sometimes and it’s nobody’s fault.” Me- “yes, but some judges don’t believe that and it ruins other’s fun. Their is a lesson in there somewhere.”
