@ryanrevans @CardPurchaser That’s a foilfractor. paper cards that have the swirlies that kinda look like electronics is a foilfractor. Superfractor is circular swirls on a chrome card.

I am seeking advice from #TheHobby community @CardPurchaser and @Topps. I’ve ripped hundreds of packs and just hit my first /5 card. Ketel Marte. Thrilled! 😁 Then I see the top left corner damage. 😩Fresh pack from a Costco, Flagship box. Do I have any reasonable options?

About an hour ago, I had 2 boxes of Costco 2026 MLB flagship collection. The first was awful. Both #’d cards were damaged. I was done. Kind of. I still had the 2nd box 👀 @ me. Fine. Letter rip. Then this happened. 😂

@DaveL1246 @CardPurchaser @Topps I’m annoyed. I pull the red /5 with damage. Next best card is a green Christian Moore /99. Also damaged. The super boxes are well built for protection. That only leaves QC @Topps churning out junk from the get go.

@ryanrevans @CardPurchaser @Topps 1. Keep it and accept it as it is. 2. You can see if there's a buyer/collector out there that wants it. 3. Or you can fill out the damage claim on Topps and send it into them for a replacement. No guarantee of what you'll get back but they'll try to give a comparable card.

Here is my take… experience says if you scream loud enough into the void, because @topps is just a promotional account and they literally laugh at this kind of stuff in the c suite, your best option is is ask @BosCardHunter to take care of it as he is the Ray Donovan of fanatics. Or he so he says. He is probably fixing something right now. I would almost bet on it. @FanaticsBook what’s the over under that Nick Andrews is currently fixing something?

Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M. The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year. And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.
