Train Nerds at the Museum (2026)

Such a beautiful Bach performance led by Klaus Mäkelä, with which we followed along via our sheet music! Highly recommend!

An absolutely amazing Amsterdam surprise from @dooitzeyidejong! Such a treat to hear Klaus speak and play, along with the other musicians. I still need to tweet photos from the first few days of my Netherlands adventure, but it’s been beautiful so far!

Happy Year of the Horse! 🐴 I went full 1970s-goes-Victorian for this one, inspired by book covers and album art of the era. All the lettering and ornamentation was drawn from scratch, and the horse animation was derived from the work of photographic pioneer Eadweard Muybridge 🐎

@ryjohnsen This book is called "Luxury Trains From the Orient Express to the TGV" by George Behrend. It was interesting because I am a train nerd, but slightly dull. I really loved the historic photos and posters throughout it.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day! Why “Paddy” though? It’s short for the male Irish name Pádraig, which is the historical name of the man we call St. Patrick. “Patty” is reserved for ladies named Patricia and hamburgers, and should never be used as a nickname for Pádraig! #paddynotpatty ☘️

Cascading "by-end-of-day" meltdown where each person in the chain thinks they just have to send the data by the end of day, resulting in the last person in the chain getting the data at 4:57 PM and having to stay late to actually do the task (or just not doing it)
