the dumbest people on this app are analyzing langdon with the premise that his s1 self is baseline and therefore his s2 self is deceptive/self-serving/etc without taking into account that his brain was being fried like an egg by benzos and/or benzo withdrawal that whole time

@MattyB187 there does seem to be minimal appreciation from some that both prolonged benzo abuse and withdrawal (like many drugs) affects a person on a neurochemical and even neuro-structural level which will of course impact their behaviour

@samcentric And the real irony, and what people don't understand, is this is probably NORMAL Langdon Anyone on drugs (or maybe withdrawing from Benzos) is so much more abrasive and ill tempered, they are so easy to hate and dismiss Which is kind of the point of this character!

i think that so much pitt discourse being about langdon this season is really funny because there's people very much frothing at the mouth at his every move and on screen all he's doing is apologizing and helping autistic women and maximizing his friendly boy swag
