@LeadingReport So instead of tackling poverty or improving nutrition education, these states are policing grocery carts for the poorest Americans. Punishing SNAP recipients for buying soda or candy does nothing to solve hunger,it just adds another layer of control over those already struggling.
BREAKING: Six states—Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, and Utah—will prohibit SNAP purchases of soda, candy, and certain snack foods, beginning in 2026 under approved waivers.
@nikosunity@Acyn My son is 28 and has autism. He graduated high school, has had the same job for almost 8 years. He has no interest in dating, he’ll never drive a car. Now on the other hand, I know a boy who’s autistic and he will never do the things Kennedy listed. At least he’s looking into it
