@kavindya_T Am not saying end the corruption, then I will pay taxes. Which is impossible. Rate? 0%. Why? I pay all LKR taxes. Do I need to pay $ taxes so that they can * Hire 30K gov employees? * keep electricity board without privatizing? * why not sell/shutdown Sri Lankan air lines

@HarshadeSilvaMP I am not opposing paying taxes. BUT did they tell this before the election, that they're gonna impose 15% tax on digital exports, freelance individuals? Did they discuss this in their economic forums or included in their election manifest? Why not imposing property tax instead?

Welikada police beats to death a woman suspect. She had been arrested on a complaint by Ms. Nethicumara, of the Salaka Group that her gold chain was stolen by a domestic helper. The killing comes despite IGP’s recent assurance to SC that there won’t be any more custodial deaths.

1/ Last month at @thethinkmill, we did a team "step challenge" for 10 days to raise funds for charity. I started walking an entire beach back and forth, every night. About 9km or so, 12k steps. Soft sand. Doing this 10 days straight, I noticed significant changes in my body 👀

I am sure each and every Sri Lankan has benefited from 1990 Suwaseriya Ambulance service free of charge for the last 7 years. We cannot let it crumble now! Please adopt an ambulance for an year at a cost of LKR 5 million and help sustain this service for the greater good of all.
