Hi Pauline, Energy Insights and In Home Display units both display information based on data which is recorded by your smart meter. @ScottishPower How does that decide what I’ve used my electricity for? I don’t see how it can. And the point about the app is that it’s not in real time. Energy insights is only per week or month.

@ScottishPower our smart meter display is one of the early ones. It’s started emitting piercing noise randomly eg when not using much electricity. Can it be replaced? I’ve got the app but that doesn’t show in real time. Can only get the day before use.

@ScottishPower That's who's given me different answers to the same question! I took over the ownership of the fit account when my mum died in April 24 . I was previously told i would get the payment from 03/24 to 10/25 this month now they're saying I'll not be getting it !

@scottishpower are a joke , different answers to the same question every time you phone them . Now they can't give me a previous FIT reading from 2 years ago that I was given in a phone call in January. Trying to get out of paying what they owe me !

1/2 I’ve finally reached my limit with @ScottishPower - I arranged a direct debit with them and they take it out 10 days early and £40 above the direct debit bill. I’m sick of the excuses. I think I manage to get it sorted out and then they do this. It’s never ending.

Unfortunately, traditional meters are no longer manufactured which means that we'll always endeavour to install a smart meter when a meter upgrade is scheduled. Please note that there is no requirement for you to have a smart meter installed if you don't want one, but this does mean that your meter wouldn't be upgraded. -Cory

Good morning. Traditional meters have a certification date, which is like your meter’s ‘best before’ date. Whilst the meter may still work beyond this date, the meter is more likely to be recording inaccurately with the older it gets. Smart meters are the most reliable way to ensure that your consumption is recorded accurately, and the meter can still be read manually by the customer as well. Hi Taty, there are 148 available hours to choose from, with discounts ranging from 20% to 50%. Most slots offer 50% off; the 20% off is for times when the grid is more in demand but still allows customers to choose if they need more choice of times to suit their lifestyle. If no preferred slots are selected, participants will automatically receive a 50% reduction between 12-4pm on Saturday & Sunday. Thanks -Cory

Hello @ScottishPower, are you having a laugh with the slots you gave to choose from for Power Saver?It was half price on Sat and Sun 11am-4pm, now you ask to choose 8 1h slots between 11 and 4 on Sat and Sun. You are not giving more flexibility, you are taking 2h off each weekend
