Gotta say I have never seen a ballplayer suck on a lollipop on the field in the middle of a losing game before. But that perfectly encapsulated the Aaron Boone Yankees. The laissez-faire, “get em next time!” demeanor. You’re a Yankee, it’s a terrible look. If you’re gonna do that, do it while you’re up 10-1 in the 8th. Any fan who thinks “oh everyone just wants to pile on Jazz for everything”, how do you expect otherwise?? He’s always the one doing (and saying) tone deaf shit like that 😭

Long shot maybe is strong. I just don't understand announcing the Steele stuff this early on without setback (and he didn't have a setback) and then talking about all the injuries "hands were dealt etc"

The Red Sox are incredibly stupid for not re-signing Kyle Schwarber after the 2021 season, but it still blows my mind that the Cubs non-tendered this man, a homegrown World Series hero, because they didn’t want to pay him $8 mil. A future Hall of Famer non-tendered in his prime.
