Allotments are a social lifeline for so many vulnerable people.

#allotments offer more than just somewhere to grow vegetables for those without gardens. They offer spiritual quiet, serenity, a place to bond with friends, a place to be still and at one with nature. They are brilliant for mental well-being and #angelarayner is going to destroy something that has been the fabric of our life for over 150 years

#Allotments - a British institution. Council owned but available to those living in homes without a garden (the poor), affording them the opportunity to grow their own food.
