@secondrealm @kortizart They're calling him the worst researcher in history
English

@kortizart or just admit this is really about money and stop the bullshit virtue signaling (read this with emotion)
English

@secondrealm With that said i gave you a good brief to why creative workers are uniquely impacted, and that’s just one out of many harms genai imposes upon our society.
Perhaps rather than be antagonistic at folks trying to hold companies accountable, hold them accountable with us. Gnight!
English

@kortizart my research indicates very little economic impact. but a significant amount of hysteria.
English

@secondrealm That’s great. Please do take a look at the creative sector earnestly then.
You’ll see how it’s impacted us.
English

@secondrealm It is not, your wall is riddled with stances very in line with the dismissal of the creative worker plight.
I suggest you lean in to your curiosity, and empathetically try to see why communities are so angry and why being pro-worker and be pro-genai is throwing us under the bus
English

@kortizart welp, guess you didn’t bother to check my bio. 😂
also, if you’re reading gary QRT from my posts consider that it might just be projection
English

@secondrealm Communities, how they’re impacted and so on, rather then perhaps angrily QRT people being upset at the exploitation. Truly, you’ll see it in no time.
Just a thought.
English

you skated around the question. so, i’m going to assume you’ve not personally lost a job b/c someone they chose to use AI to do the work instead.
i’m also going to guess your probably suing for copyright infringement, so it’s not really about the art. is it. it’s about money and your IP rights.
all that morality and virtue signaling. for
what?
English

@secondrealm I literally explained how artists are impacted??? And yes I’ve been impacted by GenAi myself. It’s why i’m suing various GenAi companies.
Furthermore if you are not seeing the harm or folks impacted is because you’re not looking. Spend some time earnestly looking at artist-
English

@kortizart right i understand your perspective, but i just don’t see how artists are hurt by any of this. are you losing out on work b/c of AI?
English

@secondrealm Our livelihoods. To claim all workers can benefit off the tech now, is to normalize this exploitation amongst other harms.
If the original sins of GenAi companies aren’t addressed then thats one way creatives workers are thrown under the bus.
Pretty straightforward.
English

@secondrealm I can mute a moron with the push of a button. Watch the magic of tech.

Before AI, a lot of these losers couldn’t make any sort of art.
English

@kortizart okay; exactly how are creative workers thrown under the bus.
English

@secondrealm No. What is actually unreasonable is being ok with throwing creative workers under the bus in order to power tech that impacts the same markets of creative workers.
Even more so to normalize the worst iteration of this tech instead of advocating for more ethical ways forward
English

@djpain1 kind of like the tech that allows you to make a beat with a push of a button. or is there more to the craft.
English

@secondrealm I see why you dudes worship a technology that does the thinking for you.
English

@secondrealm Yes. This sounds unreasonable if you remove that I’m referring exclusively to GenAi.
But its true, if you claim to be pro-worker without addressing the way Generative AI exploits workers and their livelihoods (especially creatives) then you’re just not pro-worker. Simple
