The two supporting pillars of human suffering; Religion and Capitalism. Capitalism takes your money and religion takes your mind.

...yeah, believing is fairy tales is much more comfortable.

And then comes the Atheists, who in their spiritual emptiness try to convince the ones who know the truth that what they believe (in nothing) is actually more viable than what they know to be truth. When in fact their creed is; We are from nothing, We are by nothing, and We are for nothing. . . . What a pitiful and bleak existence. . . .

Mono-culture farming devastates the rest of nature.
Farmlands continue to lose much of their wildlife, bees, birds, insects, amphibians. But each generation measures "normal" nature against what existed in their childhood; not what existed before.
So we don't mourn the Auroch, Quagga, Eastern Elk, or drained wetland. We never knew them. We each inherit a slightly emptier world & call it normal, a shifting baseline syndrome.
Humans are remarkably adaptive... dangerously so.

@DrBenTapper1 Are they burning the water? I thought that the water was used as a coolant, and as such recycles the water.
Am I wrong here?

AI data centers can use up to five million gallons of water each day. Am I the only one concerned about how this could pose a serious threat to our farmers and our food supply? What happens when these centers seriously strain our aquifers and dry up irrigation systems? Is it really worth it?

@lou_m_cypher Wrong! capitalism and religion are responsible for all of this.

@antonioguterres any country with a US base is a legal target. the solution is for the US to leave the middle east and let israel stand alone.

I have two clear messages:
First, to the United States & Israel:
It’s high time to end this war that is risking to get out of control, causing immense suffering on civilians, with dramatic effects on the global economy & potentially tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries.
Second, my message to Iran:
Stop attacking your neighbors, they were never parties to the conflict.
The Security Council has condemned these attacks, has ordered them to stop, as it has order to open the Strait of Hormuz.
The prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz causes enormous pain for so many people around the world who have nothing to do with this conflict.
It’s time for the force of the law to prevail over the law of the force.
It’s time for diplomacy to prevail over war.
