I don’t know much at all but one thing I have learned, one thing I know for a fact and that I will never doubt, is that to love someone is to wish them well. No matter what. You wish them well, you wish them cared for, you wish them happy. With or without you.





islam in algeria is mostly based on culture rather than the real deen nd if u don't follow cultural practices (bid'ah) u're considered a bad muslim. i remember someone called me ملحدة cuz i said islam does not obligate women to do housework and men should help with them too

so much relational damage is caused by the need to appear to be “the good guy” in the situation. if you can be like “listen I get this might seem selfish and unfair but this is how I really feel” you’re often being far more altruistic




Feeling your feelings means FEELING them (literally somatically, in the body) not thinking about them. I was confused about this for at least my first 2-3 years of therapy, lol. I’d go there every week and just talk about my interiority (those are thoughts, not feelings).
