X (Twitter) is the least cited social platform on ChatGPT 🧐 across every recent study on AI citations, the trend is the same: - Reddit dominates - YouTube is a strong second - LinkedIn is rising fast - Instagram and Facebook show up too - but X barely registers so here's the playbook to get cited on ChatGPT: 1. fix your SEO foundations first. use Outrank to write blogs and get backlinks to build topical authority in your domain. so your blogs can be cited and ranked 2. get on Reddit. warm up your account with karma. contribute genuinely. don't look at quantity, look at quality. one thoughtful thread beats ten promotional drops 3. don't skip YouTube. if you don't know how to make videos, use Revid to generate them and post on YouTube 4. post about your products on LinkedIn too - the problems it solves, the insights you have day to day 5. expand to forums too. We haven’t analyzed LinkedIn articles yet, but we do see that off-site mentions are a real lever. In our study, brand mentions on Reddit and Quora were associated with citations growing from under 2 to around 7 for brands with a strong presence. I found out LinkedIn articles help a lot with LLM citations. As well as: - Reddit - YouTube - Traditional SEO - Medium Great ways to get recommended by ChatGPT + Claude.
