@DntFwTexas @LyfespanHealth How do you genetically engineer an allergy to meat? It’s an allergy. Like to penicillin or anything else. You’re either sensitive/allergic or you aren’t.

Joe Rogan's friend got bit by a tick and can now only eat eggs. 450,000 Americans have the same allergy to beef and dairy. From a single tick bite. And the timing is very suspicious... Here's what no one is telling you about the lone star tick (thread):

There is now a case confirmed where: * An stewardess got sick. * The sick person was removed from the plane *before* the flight. * Her contact with them was short and minimal. That is anomalous, and why we should be cautious, rather than assuming 0% chance of mutations.

Hantavirus does not spread easily and literally requires the cramped conditions of a cruise ship to move person to person. This is not a similar situation to what happened with COVID and many of you aren't being rational about it.

@ShanonXray1 @JBrunoAZ @FmrRepMTG It actually says “possibly”. It may well prove to be. We’ll know soon enough. If people get it that had no contact with an infected person, you’ll know. So far it’s just the stewardess who was in close contact with the patient. Either way, I done arguing. Have a great day.

I actually texted her today and asked what can we treat hantavirus with. I’m so glad she posted it. Ivermectin. Also vitamin D and zinc. Those of us who refused to lockdown, mask up, and get vaxxed took the good ole horse paste and also developed natural immunity.
Mary Talley Bowden MD@MaryBowdenMD

Hantavirus is a RNA virus, and ivermectin should work against it. Ivermectin blocks RNA viruses from entering the nucleus, inhibits viral replication, disrupts integrity of the viral membrane and can prevent viral replication.

@adamscochran @PacoDolfan Go read the paper on the 93 outbreak. There was an instance of transmission with a very brief contact.

I am not saying she didn't have the Andes variant. What is important here is that the Andes variant does not normally spread that easily, nor have such a short incubation period. That means it's likely that this particular Andes strain has a mutation that has made it spread better in droplets and have a shorter incubation. That actually makes the risk of a global pandemic lower, as a short incubation time would negate the virality of it. What's important here though, is that we should not dismiss that there *is* uniqueness to this outbreak of the Andes variant that we do not normally see - and so it is naive for us to just dismiss it as a known variant when we have no mapping of it. All the other cases are irrelevant, they are explained by standard Andes variant. The stewardess is an anomaly that says its worth monitoring and keeping up to date with, but is not yet worth panicking over.

This is the most concerning part of the Hantavirus saga so far: 1) The sick woman was removed *before* the flight so that flight attendant had *MINIMAL* contact with her. 2) Andes Hantavirus normally only spreads human-to-human with significant long term contact. 3) This version of the virus often also has a longer incubation period, so having symptoms already is surprising. The cases on the ship can happen due to the contained space. This is the first case where the odds should have been *REALLY* low of the flight attendant getting sick. These traits suggest a possible mutation. What that specifically entails, we don't know yet. The hope is that it was just a *very* unlucky situation without mutations.

Hantavirus is Magic Why? Because there is an alleged outbreak, on this alleged Cruise Ship in the middle of the ocean, then within 24 hours - cases are being declared around the World from Holland to Singapore. How?

you guys please do research on the hantavirus before flipping out based off random tweets. the human to human strain has been existing, you need to be exposed to a person for a long period of time for it to spread. unlike covid, which spreads much faster. this is not to say it

@ShanonXray1 @JBrunoAZ @FmrRepMTG I get what you’re saying, but I think we’re talking about 2 different things. It’s not airborne in the same sense that the flu or measles is airborne. It doesn’t linger in the air for long periods of time. Great read though. I’d seen the Cliff Notes version but not this.

@drjmsdc53 @TPV_John Traditional antivenoms aren’t monoclonal. There are efforts being made to produce mRNA antivenoms, which would enable people to produce antibodies against venom. Never heard of anyone weaponizing venom using mRNA. Doesn’t sound feasible though.
