@CaswellAdrian @anon_opin No longer true. The law changed at the same time LED lights were legalised (because before that the law explicitly required "incandescent filament bulb" lights, a law that itself was written to abolish acetylene lights.

@SmalltimeJones Many suspected murder victims, being apparently bodies disposed of in suspicious circumstances, have been declared by the investigating authorities to be archeological discoveries and handed over to the relevant academic organisations. It always goes through the police first.

if you accidentally dig up a dead body doing construction or something, what's the age of burial cutoff for calling in scientists for an archaeological discovery vs calling the forensics team for a murder scene?

@David_Cassidy3 @RetroMoviesDB I thought his first character was one of "The Dangerous Brothers" which he and Ade E performed as a stage act a very long time ago, developing it into "The Wow Show". Or do I have the timing mixed up?

Not to downplay the fabulous achievements of Artemis II, as a point of note to the news: the Apollo command modules went round the dark side of the moon. Surely someone looked out the window then and saw the moon from that side?

@electric_nick_ Electric motorcycles are bot yeya mature product in the way that electric cars recently became (although electric mopeds are about there; and bot everyone in Europe is in a densely populated city.

Unpopular opinion: I think combustion-engine motorcycles and mopeds should be phased out in Europe. It’s hard to justify that a single loud motorcycle can disturb hundreds, if not thousands, of people in densely populated cities, especially when quieter electric alternatives already exist. Noise pollution is also proven to have negative health effects. A reasonable first step would be to stop registering new ICE motorcycles, followed by gradually limiting where existing ones can operate, for example banning them in city centers or during nighttime hours. China has proven how quiet cities can be when you remove noise two-wheelers. @battleangelviv

@james_xond Your use of the term "stick" to denote a manual gearchange suggests that you are in North America. If you wish to constrain your answers to your own country only, mention it in the question.

@james_xond In many countries, including mine (UK) a manual gearchange is normal and an automatic is rare, so absolutely yes. The rise of electric cars may overturn this, because their forward / reverse / park selectors feel much like an automatic.
