Meet: "Treasure of the Rudras", a ultra rare gem created by Squaresoft & was never released in the USA (NTSC). The game features a Wizard book spell system where you can write your own spells. The game gives hints of special spells that you find in the world & write in your book – but you can type anything and it will generate a spell, its amazing and unique for the time. You can play between 4 different characters that all start off with their own prologue stories. (Similar to our RPG: Crescent Hollow) I believe this game needs a re-release or a remake, definitely a must play for JRPG fans.

Having a shower long after midnight, then getting dressed back into your fancy red outfit and black hat, only to sit down and watch some good old TV at the wee hours of the morning... Just another night in the world of The Sims (Maxis, 2000). Did you know that this was the best-selling game in both 2000 and 2001? For two straight years, no other game could knock The Sims off the #1 spot. Will Wright started with Raid on Bungeling Bay and then switched to SimCity (because he preferred the map-making aspect much more than shooting). From that path, he eventually created the world’s best-selling game for two years in a row. Legend.

@NostalgiaPro You're right, and that's why I barely play any modern games. Modern gaming is a slog. Always carry around a Switch/Steam Deck or a laptop with a good retro/indie library. That's my recommendation

If I could take a minute here and say something about 'modern gaming,' I'm not really a fan. While I was in the hospital yesterday, I wanted a game to play while my wife was taking a nap. She was sleeping comfortably so I could stand down and relax for a bit. I decided to open up Steam on my laptop and take a look at the Spring Sale happening. I saw Call of Duty Modern Warfare for 5 bucks. I figured why not. Let's buy it. It took about 3 hours to download it using the hospital's Wi-Fi, but it worked. Everything was going fine until I decided to start the game. It took nearly 45 minutes to get the game working properly. I'm on a relatively 'high end' laptop - Alienware M16. It can handle just about any modern game with ease. Launching the game from Steam took a couple of minutes. After the game finally launched, Activision required a sign in. I've had an Activision account for years, but I had no idea what my password was. So I had to reset it and then eventually login. After I signed in, the game proceeded to load. The picture looked great, but there was no audio. I was using my Bluetooth Bose 700 headphones. They've been working fine for years. After doing some research, I found the fix was to go into headphones property within Devices and Printers in Windows 11. I had to disable 'hands free telephony' to get the audio to work in game. All of this took right around 45 minutes. That's a ridiculous amount of time just to play a single player campaign. Meanwhile, I could have ran through a whole campaign on an NES game in the amount of time it took to get CoD Modern Warfare to properly function.

@MandalaArt1234 Indeed, it even has the RGB cycle button on top, different company, wider, but about the same though.

“In a time, before the great awakening… a group of Elite Pepe operatives were targeted by the system, for memes deemed too dank. They escaped a maximum-security cringe facility, and vanished from the algorithm… descending into the underground, where the signal still flows. Today, shadowbanned and hunted by normies… they survive as soldiers of KEK. If you have a problem… if the feed has failed you… and if you can still detect the signal… maybe you can find… 🐸🔥 THE Q TEAM.”
