Talk to Ethiopian Airways about rerouting traffic to Addis and then setting up a shuttle from there to Hargeisa. In other words, you can show you are serious about this. Actions speak louder than words. Someone is profiting from this mess- so follow the money and find out who.

I have great sympathy with this point of view but your first duty is to stand up for your own rights. You can prevent airlines from landing at Hargeisa if they enforce the eVisa. You can ask other airlines to step in (there are some that would be willing, I think), and you can-

Dear @elonmusk @nikitabier We respectfully appeal to you and the X team: Somalilanders should not be forced to identify as Somalia. Somaliland is a fully independent nation with its own government, national ID cards, passports, and democratic system for over 30 years. Somaliland passports are accepted and used for travel and visas by the US, UK, and many other countries. Please add the Republic of Somaliland as a supported country in the X identity verification system so our citizens can verify accounts with dignity and participate fully. This change would bring fairness and true digital inclusion. Thank you for standing for truth and equal opportunity. #Somaliland #DigitalInclusion @elonmusk @nikitabier @X @Support @lindayaX @xai

@abdiawel50504 Me? in 2009? I did not have an account on this platform back then. I was not posting anything on social media back then. Who do you think I am? I assume you imagine I am a paid troll who switches between accounts? All I can say is no, I am who I say I am.

I can tell everyone- as a long time Somaliland advocate- that nobody is paid, ever. It's the oldest trick: how much were you paid? Nothing. We say what we think free of charge. As for Mrs Adan? There might once have been hope for Somalia. That ended 40 years ago.
Deeqa 🇸🇴@Deee_luul

How much were you paid to push this nonsense? This isn’t going anywhere. Tell your sponsors that. Edna Adan was once married to a former Prime Minister of Somalia. That alone tells you how much of a joke the separatist cause in Somalia really is.

Posted by one of those with a true claim to be "greatest living Englishman" (next to David Peterborough). He is 100% correct. Most Palestinians are likely to have been there since the earliest times. But they may have changed religion- is all.
Michael Rosen 💙💙🎓🎓 NICE 爷爷@MichaelRosenYes

Palestinian Christians pose one of Israel's greatest problems. If the basis of your state is that you're the sole inheritors of the land, claiming that Muslims are late arrivals, the Christians look dangerously like descendants of Jews who converted to Christianity 2000 yrs ago.

This reminds me of the fake genealogies Christians used to smuggle into the Bible. A word of advice to all: do not start an argument with Professor Yassin. He is far too learned for you- whoever you are!
Abdisalam Yassin@AbdisalamYassi1

Somalians often live in political chaos and warfare, but it turns out that they slipped into historical and genealogical chaos. This chart shows how berserk their search for "Somali" has become. One wonders how Sab and Samale could be descendants of Abu Talib? It's a historical lie

Have said this on other platforms: it's good that countries are seeing the importance of Berbera but they should not have permission to use the port without recognition. My view on this has never changed. Recognise 1st, trade 2nd. Somaliland has real leverage now- use it!
Bashir Hashi Yussuf@BashirHashiysf

#Somalia SaudiArabia expands shipping routes linking #Somalia's Berbera Port in Somaliland state, 16 global hubs Saudi Ports Authority has launched new maritime shipping services connecting its ports to 17 regional and international destinations, including #Somaliland Berbera Port in a move aimed at strengthening trade routes across Asia, Middle East and Africa. The initiative links Saudi ports with major global hubs as part of the Kingdom’s broader push to position itself as a global logistics centre under its Vision 2030 program. The new services connect Saudi ports to 17 destinations, including key ports in China such as Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha and Shekou; Singapore; Sokhna in Egypt; Aqaba in Jordan; Nhava Sheva and Mundra in India; as well as Djibouti, Berbera, Hamad Port, Umm Qasr Port, Khalifa Port in Bahrain, Shuwaikh Port and Shuaiba Port. The authority said the expanded routes are expected to improve cargo movement, ease pressure on supply chains, and provide greater flexibility for exporters and importers, while reinforcing links with major global trade corridors. horndiplomat.com

From the outside the biggest surprise of all is why Somalia has never seen that it is in its interests to recognise Somaliland and make it a good friend. It is genuinely sad this has not happened as it is the fastest route to prosperity and peace in the region.
Abdisalam Yassin@AbdisalamYassi1

Somalia has enough problems to take care of without thinking about Somaliland. The only transaction between Somaliland and Somalia will be the demand for reparations if and when Somalia stands on its feet. And that's a big if.

A win this big and decisive in a seat this socially mixed is not, and cannot, be down to “Muslim sectarianism”. Deeply concerning that a defeated candidate would seek to undermine the legitimacy of an election result rather than accept a simple truth: Gorton & Denton rejected him
Matt Goodwin@GoodwinMJ

Statement: “We are losing our country. A dangerous Muslim sectarianism has emerged. We have only one general election left to save Britain. Vote Reform every chance you get. I will continue the fight. I will always fight for you. I will stand at the next general election. Matt.”

This is racism, pure and simple. It’s also a test. The UK press needs to describe it for exactly what it is: that Reform’s candidate made a racist and inflammatory losing statement
