The amount of midwits I'm seeing on this site today claiming MLB "backed down" and "reversed punishment" when the players were never punished, were just given warnings (a week ago) about defacing their caps, and how Manfred not only didn't apologize for it, but basically called Hawley a moron is staggering. The depths by which Magadoltians display their stupidity really seems to be without limit of depth.

They were asking questions critical of the Giants for not informing the players as well as not supporting LGBT.

@simonmichaels @BonkDaCarnivore The media is always going to ask questions where there is controversy. To some extent, it's their job to ask. The reason this is getting so much attention is because of people wrongly trying to characterize this as some sort of discrimination.

He's not exactly known to be protective of players, rathers he's hated by them, so I don't think he lied just to make the players look good, for some unknown reason, and at.the expense of the giant management.

Rule was 1)making sure no player was forced to wear gay apparel, and 2) team talked to players to make sure they felt comfortable. If #1 wasnt broken, #2 was. If theres more, letter doesnt say.

I'm not pinning blame on anyone, I'm making the point its not any one person's responsibility. The team poorly informed the players, as did the PA, as did the players themselves.
