It's shoddily sourced at best, and lack of transparency is frustrating. Even if true, it's ~$50MM a year in benefit, not $300MM or whatever, and didn't lead to this. They didn't spend like this until Ohtani arrived. Still private equity who care about making money. It's Ohtani.
