I was calling Michael Carrick a fraud and some of you said I was just stuck on Amorim. Now look at this. Carrick is pushing for a £100M move for Morgan Rogers. A “natural winger” who can’t outscore or out-assist Matheus Cunha, our so-called makeshift winger. That alone should end the conversation. And please, spare me the lazy excuse about being “Premier League proven.” Proven doing what exactly? Playing in the league means nothing if your output is average. If you’re underperforming, you’re not proven, you’re exposed. Now look at the profiles we’re being linked with. None of them are elite. None of them are leading their positions. None of them are dominating statistically. When we signed Cunha and Mbeumo, they were the best players at their clubs. Rogers isn’t even the best winger at his own team, but we’re talking about £100M like it’s normal. If Carrick is personally backing this, then it’s just another L to add to the list. And another clear reason he shouldn’t be anywhere near the permanent job.

It might be unpopular opinion, tapi kalau boleh jujur, gue paham kenapa Erik ten Hag mau Onana waktu itu. Kita sekarang bisa bilang ini itu setelah Onana terbukti gagal, tapi waktu itu? Catatannya juga cukup impresif, 8 clean sheet di sepanjang turnamen, itu jadi rekor untuk kiper Inter di UCL. Belum lagi dia juga juara Coppa Italia dan Supercoppa Italiana di musim yang sama. Based on itu, kayanya gak ada yang salah dengan pemikiran untuk mendatangkan dia ke Old Trafford. Terlebih, secara data dia emang fit banget sama filosofi Ten Hag, setelah gue cek dia punya rata-rata 27 passes per game di half sendiri, jauh di atas De Gea yang cuma 17. Jadi secara atribut, Onana ini memang tipe kiper yang Ten Hag mau. Jadi keputusan untuk mendatangkan Onana sangat bisa dimengerti sebenernya, terlepas dari hasilnya berhasil atau gagal itu lain soal.
