Michael “Venom” Page explains why he walked out to Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us":
"I’ve spoken about being frustrated with the decisions that were made. I think the main one for me was the fact that they put a young kid, who's super talented, but has only had one fight in the UFC, as a co-main event.
I felt disrespected... I’ve delivered some really entertaining fights, given people a lot to talk about, and made a lot of noise... I think the majority of fans were there to see me. That was a bit annoying, so I felt like it was relevant."
@Andy_James_B@blondedmma When Kevin held hands with MVP at the face off last year. Rampage tweeted it calling them fruity or something and Kevin got irrationally angry at him. Kevins all bark no bite he has openly given up in the first round of multiple fights. Most delusional fighter at WW behind Colby.
@tim_jiggy It’s not that music is a race thing; it’s that people like you are too dumb to grasp how racism dictated who got credit for it. Sit this one out, genius.
I need people to realize that rock is a Black genre. Its roots are deeply tied to the innovations of Black artists like Chuck Berry, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Little Richard. It’s not about ‘joining’ the genre, it’s about reclaiming a legacy that was whitewashed.
