Track parents…why didn’t you warn us about how terrible it is?!? I’ve been every kind of sports mom there is, but track is kicking my butt. Nobody knows exactly what time any event starts, so you just show up and sit around for HOURS waiting for your child to compete for less than 10 minutes. I should never have complained about soccer 😩😆

100% correct! He is frequently letting me know how much other people love him! “They love me over there” speaking about a company he does business with or the people he gambles with. He’s got a lot of mental problems for someone who’s perfect. OCD, gambling, impulse control as well as being a covert narcissist

Narcissists are entirely devoted to their public image. How they are perceived by others, IS who they believe they are. So they don’t experience guilt or shame for their actions as long as their image remains untarnished. And even then, it’s only the discomfort of exposure. When someone exposes their wrongdoing, instead of feeling remorse or taking responsibility, they view the person who discovered it as the problem and narcissists typically react with defensiveness, denial, or even retaliation against the person pointing out their actions.

It never happens on purpose. You just slowly stop fitting into certain rooms. A narcissist will be horribly abusive and hurtful to you, I’m talking about screaming and getting you emotional and not backing down until you are screaming back in anguish, maybe things are being thrown, until it becomes a nightmare so dark you feel like this one emotional expenditure has changed you permanently and you’re crying and angry and depressed and you can’t stand the hell you’re living in and don’t understand why…and then the next day they act like nothing happened — and expect you to go along with it. No acknowledgment. No apology. No accountability. Just a reset. It’s coercion. They know what they just put you through. They also know you’re exhausted and you just want one calm day. So they offer you exactly that — accept the reset and get some peace today, but you’re also telling them they can abuse you like that and act like its normal. There’s something deeply humiliating about it — an unspoken contract where you forfeit your own humanity in exchange for one quiet day. A transaction the sadistic narcissist relishes.

I am at an unnamed children's extracurricular activity in Loudoun County and the coach just said: "We have a big problem with kids not hydrating enough because they don't want to use public restrooms at school." Problems with the bathrooms in Loudoun County public schools? Weird.
