@BunjBKM @jzulgad Many prominent, successful NFL players have broken bones and gone on to have great careers. Only time will tell…I’m not going to pout over a draft pick when it hasn’t played out yet. Until then, I’ll choose to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and hope he turns out great.

Bones heal, but not 100%. A foot injury like that when you weigh over 300 lbs will only exasperate more injuries on the lower body as time goes on... Eventually leading to major back issues. Bad pick. A Lewis Cine type of bad pick. Especially with arguably the best WR in the draft sitting there.

I don't care if you have the best doctors in the world, the medicals are the medicals and these doctors aren't miracle workers. Caleb Banks is 6-6, 327 pounds and he has had problems with his foot. The Vikings couldn't afford to take an unnecessary risk and they did exactly that.

Dillon Thieneman goes to the Bears at 25. After passing on the guy all the mocks expected them to take, the Vikings will see him twice a year moving forward.

If you fall in love with a prospect like the Minnesota Vikings organization did with Caleb Banks, realize roughly where he is going. NO ONE had him close to the first round. At least trade down slightly and draft him. Gain valuable picks. We need a new GM.

@DavidKnutsonPP @Ducksin2026 @lakeshow73 True, but he was a stud his junior year and projected top ten guy until the injury. It’s a broken bone…those heal fine. It’s not soft tissue/ligament type issue. He’ll be fine, but no guarantees for anyone.

Vikings dumping Hargrave & Allen to save money meant they had to draft D-tackle, broken foot Banks, which meant Bears wound up with Thieneman, the excellent safety who should’a been in Minnesota. #cheapWilfs
