This is called “brandishing” and when you do it to someone’s face, it is legally considered assault. You do NOT have the right to point a gun in the face of an unarmed protestor, especially when you out number them, and have other options for de-escalation. This is a CLEAR crime.

Stop fear-mongering. ICE does NOT arrest or deport U.S. citizens. If a U.S. citizen is arrested, it is because they have obstructed or assaulted law enforcement. What makes someone a target for immigration enforcement is if they are illegally in the U.S.—NOT their skin color, race, or ethnicity. Secretary Noem has been clear: rioters will not stop us or slow us down.

Wow. Police scanner captures the incident in Chicago. ICE agents shot a woman through the windshield in the arm and leg. "They jumped out and started shooting at her," the victim said, according to the officer. She went to the police for help. "I don't know if she bumped them, and they took off," the officer said, "but she ended up here." An ambulance was called, and it's now being investigated as a crime scene. #Chicago
