Adelaide’s view is this is just a standard hammy. Keane gets another run in the SANFL but Walker comes back into a side which has been keen to play four tall forwards at times this year and even played Finbar Maley this year to stay tall in the front six

Exactly what I thought anyways. The second half of this year will be trash and we wont make finals due to this fraud having learnt absolutely nothing in his disgraceful and mediocre 7 years of coaching, if you can even call it that.

@SensibleCrow The AFL isn’t about being fair and giving everyone a go. Those you mention have never demanded selection. Hell, Dowling has been given plenty of opportunity at the top level. A discussion on development is a different discussion to gifting players games because of their age.

If I’m Billy Dowling I’d be getting his manager to immediately find another club. Insane that Nicks and co can stifle our young kids due to “not understanding the team defence structures” yet bring this lad in… Hope he becomes the next Brodie Smith, but selection integrity for the lads who have done the work at the club needs to take precedence.

I’m not expert but it doesn’t look great. Got to full speed and looks like it went. We took a risk bringing him in given his injury history at GWS. Some massive concerns over our conditioning this season. So many soft tissues.

@bazz_27 Anyone who’s watched us from finals through this year knows the three, let alone four doesn’t work. Filth needs to get the back right and play backup ruck. Love Tex, but he’s becoming very 50/50 between being great and being a complete negative. Fog always looks better w/o him.

Looked at a few stats areas for different forward setups. 2 is heavily weighted by wins vs north and richmond

@Doesgilgetalick Think he’s going to miss as many as he plays moving forward. Fog is miles better without him and all three together isn’t working against good sides.

Tex in the SANFL, lord almighty Nicks Is an imbecile. Either don’t play him off a string (on a Cold Thursday night in Tassie), or play him ones and run the risk at 6-4 vs a good side.

@Crickettrag1965 I’m not convinced Murray is our guy just yet against the better sides, but have liked his mobility and marking. I’d rather Filthy play second ruck and have an extra runner.

@russell_183 @bazz_27 He’s also our best forward. I’m talking about the ruck chop out. Murray has looked really good last few weeks, but I think if we’re talking about winning finals it’s all in, which is Filth second ruck giving McAndrew a quick rest.

@spcl88 @bazz_27 I like him forward as much as possible. You can't judge him on this year, he's hardly been able to move. And he can still pinch hit in there if Murray keeps showing what he has as a forward. Best of both worlds!

Smaller forward line working... Tex kicks goals but doesn't allow the pressure we've had. But we are also just playing North so it's hard to tell.
