After four months, I’m sorry to share @GamesDoneQuick has decided to stop supporting Splits.io, citing financial reasons. We will continue with our original shutdown plans, with a new last day of March 31, 2025.

Due to the stress and emotional toil this journey has put us through, we are not looking to be saved again. Thank you for your understanding, love, and support. ♥️ - @glcls

I can't deny getting inspired by some of the sites that made speedrunning big in the first place, like @sdaspeedruns, @SpeedRunsLive, @splitsio, @speedruncom, @esamarathon, @GlobalSpeedrun, @GamesDoneQuick, @coolcatalliance and many more. Wouldn't be the same without you all!

I think its super important to recognize that The Run would not be close to where it is right now without the help of some fantastic people. So at the risk of sounding corny, here's a thread of some appreciations :) No particular order! 🧵
