Finally watching “The Pitt” Pretty solid medical show. Then I almost lost my mind when they put the dude in an Aircast stirrup brace & said “this is what all the professional athletes play in.” Not because that’s ridiculous… But because it’s an accurate portrayal of EDs 😅

@JSoLaNo82 @SP_LimitReviews Any luck getting squeaky door handles addressed? My R1S Tri sounds like a jalopy with rusted door hinges 🤭 when the handles ‘pop’ out. Each time I’ve tried, local SC says fix isn’t available …..

@DEvanAltman Eccentrics just gets them loading heavier faster, and often more tolerated than concentric loading. Eventually have to get to both.

@DEvanAltman What did you find ;) my approach is isometrics only if patient so pain limited otherwise I will tend to go eccentric loading -> concentric. Goal is load tendon as much as it can without increasing pain, but some discomfort is allowed (Goldilocks range)

You know you're a huge nerd when you spend time reviewing the role of isometric exercises in improving tendinopathies in athletes, even though you have zero direct role in athletic training.

@Hilbe Little jealous, I just can’t do leases…. I’m 2 months from a year in the low mileage one and 4 months on the high mileage from 2 years. That one maybe we could do a 15k a year lease ……if math ever worked

I’m doing pretty well on my lease. 12,000 miles/year and started in May. I’ll put 2,000 on it though driving to AZ.
