@CodySte06187838 @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin I agree that the biblical time has its own logic, with the number 7 or/and 70 as one of the numerical factors, as per Daniel 9:24 and Leviticus 25:8-18. And wether the Millennium has yet to come, or if its already passed us, and if was this a 7th day of rest, is yet to be seen.

@steparian @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin The prophecies concerning Israel, ended in 70 AD. (That was the 4th Day of creation.) BUT. I believe that 1 day is 1000 years, and those living in OUR time, must fulfill the 6th Day. (1030-33 AD to 2030-33 AD) Beast kingdoms/Man of Evil. Our time has its own issues.

@macrofern @steparian @TruthSynod @DavidJo2437 @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin You don't understand. Andor is not just another man with a "man-made" idea. He's different and special. His ideas cannot be contained in our low-minded boxes because his understanding is too high to even be explained or identified with any other "man's" idea. 🙄😂🤦🏻‍♂️

@BohanTheRefiner @TruthSynod @DavidJo2437 The Bible is a complex system. People have been studying it for millennia. Yes, we have to read it carefully, thoruoghly, while at the same time studying ancient and recent history (long term time lens) and geopolitics (short term time lens). And we also need the Holy Spirit.

@TruthSynod Its pointless, you are too deep into this man-made doctrine. You are not trying to make a biblical point, you are defending an identity..

@steparian @DavidJo2437 @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin Yes it is a preterist concept because it's in the bible and words have meaning: the son of man comes "before you go through all the towns of israel, before some of you die, this generation, when you see.." why don't you believe the words of Jesus?

@steparian @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin 70 AD wasn't some footnote. It was the end of the Hebrew world. Their lives were in Jerusalem and the temple. Once destroyed, the majority believed YAH was 100% done with them Yashuas resurrection ushered in the New Covenant. It took 40 years to spread the news to the whole earth

@parousia70 @DavidJo2437 @drchuckbaldwin Thats futurism you are talking about. And actually both the futurist and preterist doctrines are very similar. They both hyper-focus on short term time windows. Again, failing to understand how the Bible treats time.

@steparian @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin Time determines nature. 👍 Preterists didn't make up the time statements in Scripture. We don't get to postpone fulfillment because we don't like the fulfillment.

@parousia70 @DavidJo2437 @drchuckbaldwin Talking about propper context, (and the importance of knowing where one is standing) Im not sheltering the process of understanding G-d inside the tiny boxes of man-made doctrines (Isaiah 55:8). So Im not going around pretending to have all the answers. (1 Corinthians 13:12)

Paul told the Corinthians that the "present form of this world is passing away". What world was in the process of passing away 2000 years ago? Answer: The types and shows of the old covenant world of fleshly Israel? It was a covenant change not cosmological. We now enjoy life in the New Jerusalem, i.e., the Church. "The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life."

@DavidJo2437 @parousia70 @drchuckbaldwin Thats the preterist's doctrine conclusion. Simple common sense already informs us that if the prophecised (since the beginning, Isaiah 46:10 ) Age to Come were already here this world would look very very different. Isaiah 2:4
