The answer is 'It's got nothing to do with Brexit!' Now, what's the question? #GTTO #NursesStrike #ToriesUnfitToGovern #dontbuythesun 🇪🇺

@SuellaBraverman Is it because Brexit was a shit idea, based on lies, greed & corruption? Much like Reform Ltd.

Having worked as a Brexit Minister in this department, I can’t say that this is at all surprising. The civil service did not want Brexit to happen. Civil service dominance, intransigence and ineffectiveness will all be dealt with by a Reform government.

So a club can sell its hotel to itself, sell its women’s team to itself, but West Brom are punished, they believe, for legitimate “in-kind” donations to the Albion Foundation, its charity partner that saves lives. Albion also believe the alleged PSR breach is “less than £2m”

@stuartm1971 @CharIieBennett Yeah definitely, Elanga was his 1st choice and doesn't even look like a footballer but the rest are 3rd/4th choices. Hopefully Wilson knows what he's doing.

I understand why some fans want to change the manager. The league season has been terrible. I’ve been open-minded since the derby. Nobody could bemoan the decision if Eddie Howe were to go. But if the club stick with Howe, I hope everyone rallies behind him. Being the most successful Newcastle manager of recent times should count for something. Bad seasons happen. This isn’t a unanimous, no-brainer decision like when McClaren or Bruce needed binned. Howe must take a chunk - but not all - of the blame. #NUFC’s failings are more nuanced than pinning it all on the manager. With a CEO and sporting director in place, they can go again under Howe. Other managers have done so after a bad campaign. Make no mistake, if given another crack, his credit has expired. Howe must deliver next season. This is one of those rare instances where I can appreciate both sides of the argument. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my view on the manager debate. 😅

@LukeEdwardsTele Agreed. He could do with a decent summer and a pre-season not sabotaged by the likes of Isak & Liverpool.

Eddie Howe remains the best manager for Newcastle United and deserves the chance to rebuild the squad in the summer with a proper support structure in place. If he leaves in the summer, I believe the club will regret it. Probably swiftly and for a long time. This is my opinion. I have covered the club for 23 years. I watch them pretty much every week and nothing that happens between now and the end of May will change my mind. It’s fine to disagree. I’ve seen a few comments about where I’m from recently and the fact I’m not a fan. Like that prevents me from having an opinion on a club it is my job to cover and has been for more than two decades. This is my professional opinion as a football journalist. Lots of you will disagree with it. But I also know many of you agree with me because I speak to people all the time and don’t spend my entire day on here. Opinions vary, that’s absolutely fine #nufc

@ejames500 The fact that Trump has formed his cabinet & close White House staff from fawning sycophants who won't question anything he says would suggest he's the one lacking a backbone. But you knew that anyway, right?

I couldn’t care less what Kanye West says or does. If Brits want to part with their money to watch him shout into a microphone, let them. He’s a nutcase. But it should be up to those people who purchased a ticket if they attend his events. Not Starmer. Banning him is too far.

Threatening war crimes and mocking Islam isn't a sign of strength, it's a sign of weakness. The PM should rule out UK forces and airfields being used for any attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure. What more will it take for Starmer to call off the Royal Visit Trump craves?
