My name is Chris and I’m an alcoholic. Here’s to my 12th day of being sober. My mind is getting more clear and the urge is slowly fading. I do have my moments, but I’ll work through them. If I can do this, so can you!

Today I’m 166 days #sober from alcohol. Arguably the best decision I’ve ever made; one for myself, and my family. I could’ve have done it without them. It’s funny now seeing photo memories and in each one I had a drink. But no more. I see my path and I am making progress

North Carolinians are fed up, and quite frankly, so am I. Property taxes continue to skyrocket while some local governments collect far more than growth can justify. That stops now. House Republicans are committed to REAL solutions and REAL results for taxpayers.

@readswithravi I used to enjoy e-books when I first started reading outside of studying. However, the more I read the more I enjoy physical books. Helps me connect to what I’m reading and I can recall quotes/key topics from the spot on the page in my Mind. Something that’s missing from e-books

Do you still favor reading physical books over e-books?

It’s been 14 days that I’ve been on paternity leave and I don’t go back until Monday. I’ve tried my best to not look at work stuff and enjoy the time with my growing family. But I did login today to verify some paperwork and saw the shit storm I’m about to come back to… 🫩
