@drkeyedangel @shboogies Pima Co. partnered with Praxis Project, who already had the infrastructure after posting bail for low-income, low-offense, low-risk offenders for years via Tucson Bail Fund to reduce the number of people losing jobs, housing, custody, etc. due to short-term detention.

Let me see how many people are going to think I am making it up. Since so many people that do not live here act like they know the law here.
Pima County has a program that if you get arrested by Pima County Sheriff. Pima County will post your bail. Not everybody will qualify. But yes there is a program started by Pima County that post your bail if arrested by Pima County.
Let that sink in.

@CriminalNetworX He said he’s not trying to call any YTers out or say anyone is better than YTers—including himself—and talked candidly about what I recognize as the code of ethics/basic principles actual journalists adhere to.
I’ll take him over JLR every gahtdamn day.

For all those people who got butt hurt cause I called Brian a homophobic slur needs to wipe the tears. He made a post about me saying I was rude to him in the past which is bullshit, show me a receipt dude. Anyways, for all his cheerleaders, once your feelings are better, listen to what he says about people like JLR or myself.
THIS ISN'T A VIDEO GAME BRIAN and I give zero shts about your credentials, just like my boss gives no shts about mine. Let's not forget ur a youtuber too. Later

@Kisouttahere @PimaSheriff @KVOA @SaltySleuth @jayis4justice I’m not gonna act like Alex was resisting just bc I haven’t been happy with him as of late.
The Sheriff’s Department acting like some poor little deputy was “knocked down” is ridiculous and dishonest considering the deputy clearly just lost his footing and fell.

@Epiphanydb @PimaSheriff @KVOA @SaltySleuth @jayis4justice I don’t think it was on purpose. I think the deputy actually lost his footing. At least that’s what it looks like (it looks like Alex almost lost his too).
English

@KVOA @jayis4justice I don’t think the deputy was knocked down. Looks more like he lost his footing while him and the other deputy were trying to leg sweep Alex.

@VoicesEvidence He was a supporter tho. As in, past tense…..until he learned that JLR repeatedly tried to strangle, batter, and torment Magnolia. Normal people are typically horrified by that sort of degeneracy.
People seem just fine with the behavior you’re describing when JLR does it tho.
English

What stood out to me most about this interaction wasn't JLR's response; it was the setup.
If someone approaches another person claiming to be a supporter, but their real goal is to confront them, provoke them, or get a reaction on camera, that's not exactly an honest conversation. It feels more like an attempt to bait someone into saying something they shouldn't.
Let's also remember that there are ongoing legal proceedings involved. Whether people support JLR or not, he is entitled to the same presumption of innocence as anyone else. Allegations are not convictions.
From what I understand, there is a gag order in place, and most attorneys would strongly advise their clients not to discuss pending legal matters publicly. Expecting someone to comment on an active case, speculate on allegations, or make statements that could be used against them later isn't realistic.
In fact, if JLR had engaged in a lengthy discussion about the case, many of the same people criticizing him now would likely be criticizing him for talking too much.
You don't have to support JLR to recognize that someone facing legal proceedings has the right to remain silent and follow the advice of counsel.
Disagree with him. Question him. Criticize him if you want. But let the legal process play out before declaring guilt or demanding public confessions.
The courtroom is where evidence is presented.
The courtroom is where facts are tested.
The courtroom is where guilt or innocence is determined.
Not on a livestream. Not on social media. And not because someone was baited into a confrontation.
That's how due process is supposed to work.

Jake the one starved for his time on camera. Up in JLR's personal life. Jake is a coward wouldn't answer who his mama is..

I’ve hopefully made it easier to pick/choose which one of JLR’s recent shit show dockets someone is looking for.
Including the one filed by @RealMantel in Texas today.

@Butierez4C @JustAsking32391 @857Tucson If you want me to think you’re sense enough to think I missed the meaning of my own post in reference to the statutes cited in the charges against specific people, I’ll consider it.
Make sure to stretch before moving that goalpost again tho.
English

@subtxtpress @JustAsking32391 @857Tucson I guess you missed the meaning of the post and your from around here. You seem to be ok ignoring the children’s safety and allowing addicts to smoke fentanyl around the children trying to get school on the bus.

🚨SHERIFF ARREST YOUTUBERS🚨
This is very odd. The Sheriff has arrested several YouTubers by claiming they were public nuisances while engaging in activities they believe are protected by the First Amendment.
I've spoken with 857Tucson. Attorneys are now getting involved.
In my view, this does not appear to be a well-thought-out move by the Sheriff. He is labeling what many consider a lawful and constitutionally protected activity as a nuisance and arresting these individuals. Meanwhile, panhandling, shoplifting, and open drug use continue to be visible problems in the community.
There are concerns that individuals committing more serious crimes are not being arrested or prosecuted with the same level of attention.
I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts on this situation.
