My last Hugo Halftime Show performances were magical. My daughter performed and taught my parents about skill-related fitness. Then Hugo showed up for my 4th and 5th grade classes. 👏🎉👏🎉 I am hyped to Hugo! @hornets

@supportphysed It’s probably something I’ll never pursue. When I 👂 people discuss it, it sounds a lot like when I did my research in grad 🏫. I’m in no rush to go through something so formal again anytime soon 😀.

It's always a great day to share activities with #PhysEd Teachers. I had fun presenting ideas allowing students to lose and win with intentional opportunities to show sportsmanship and fair play.

@WillWestphal What sticks out to me is students identified that their peers were helpful. ❤️

Playing around with a quick self-reflection idea using a few Meaningful PE features. Students get to choose and show what they enjoyed most from the lesson. Maybe use as an exit routine, before lining up, or a turn and talk. #meaningfulpe #PhysEd

It's when the students start decorating for their halftime show. So excited to infuse a little Sports Ed Model into my Hugo's Halftime Show Unit! Hugo is our Charlotte NBA Basketball team mascot. This unit is real life application of skills, rhythm, and fun!

Day 1 of #HPE back-to-school training with THE best educators in @CharMeckSchools! Today our secondary Ts stepped out of their comfort zones to learn how to use the new technology they are getting for their gyms, set goals for their PLCs, & reflect on how they can help all Ss feel safe, supported, & that they belong.
