Waziri wa Sanaa ana kazi kubwa sana ya kufanya. Kuna sekta zinazokua kwa kasi, na jukumu lake ni kuhakikisha ukuaji huo unatafsiriwa kuwa ajira kwa vijana wengi zaidi, hasa kwenye sekta ya ubunifu wa mavazi (fashion). Imagine ile outfit aliyovaa Davido imebuniwa na kushonwa na vijana wadogo wa Kitanzania 🙌🏿🙌🏿💪🏿. Mpaka nawaza kwa nini tusichukue wabunifu hata 10, tukawapeleka kwenye fashion show Paris, wakutane na madesigner wakubwa duniani si kwa anasa, bali kuwajengea uwezo, exposure na ujasiri. Hapo ndipo ajira, ubunifu na uchumi wa sanaa vinaanzia. Hata kufanya lobbying wamvalishe star mkubwa tu. 😁. Vijana wetu wa kitz wanaakili sana kwenye sekta mbali mbali basi tu wasimamizi wa sekta ndiyo wapo nyuma(hawana exposure).

RECOMMENDED CORE DIVISIONS FOR THE NEWLY MINISTRY OF YOUTH AFFAIRS TO BE FORMED AS PRESIDENT PROMISED. 1) Division of Youth Development & Empowerment Core Mandate: Strengthening youth participation, leadership, civic engagement, and national values. Key Functions •Develop national policies and strategies on youth empowerment and inclusion. •Promote youth leadership programs and youth councils across the Country. •Coordinate national youth initiatives (e.g., Youth Day, youth forums and platform). •Train youth in civic responsibility, ethics, and patriotism. •Monitor youth participation in governance and decision-making bodies. •Coordinate with LGAs on youth programmes implementation. 2) Division of Youth Economic Empowerment & Employment Core Mandate: Expanding youth access to jobs, entrepreneurship, innovation, and financing. Key Functions •Formulate policies and strategies on youth employment, job creation, and skills development. •Oversee national youth empowerment funds and credit schemes and to make the fund revolving. •Promote youth entrepreneurship, SMEs, startups and innovation hubs. •Coordinate internship and apprenticeship programmes with industries. •Develop labour-market transition programmes for graduates. •Build partnerships with private sector for youth jobs. 3) Division of Youth Skills Development, Training & Talent Promotion Core Mandate: Building youth capacities through technical skills, creative arts, sports, innovation, and digital competencies. Key Functions •Develop skills-development programmes in TVET, ICT, agribusiness, etc. •Promote youth talent development in arts, music, sports, and culture. •Certify and coordinate youth training centres and youth camps. •Support incubation of youth start-ups in creative and digital industries. •Promote digital literacy, coding programmes, and innovation challenges. •Coordinate youth volunteerism and national service programmes. 4) Division of Youth Health, Welfare & Social Protection Core Mandate: Safeguarding youth health, wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of vulnerable youth. Key Functions •Develop policies on youth reproductive health, mental health, and drug abuse prevention. •Coordinate HIV/AIDS prevention & awareness among youth. •Promote programs addressing gender-based violence, exploitation, and early marriage. •Develop rehabilitation and support services for youth with drug addiction. •Safeguard the welfare of vulnerable youth (street youth, disabled youth, homeless youth). •Promote life-skills education and healthy lifestyle campaigns. 5) Division of Youth Innovation, Digital Economy & Technology Core Mandate: Driving youth involvement in technology, research, and digital transformation. Key Functions •Promote youth participation in the digital economy (apps, AI, robotics). •Support youth technology parks, ICT hubs, and innovation labs. •Coordinate national youth research programmes. •Promote cyber-skills training and digital entrepreneurship. •Develop frameworks for youth participation in STEM fields. •Strengthen youth-led tech enterprises with seed support.
