Hello @MTNNG and @MTN180 You stopped the service on the image below but failed to remove the beneficiaries and now your subscribers are facing challenge of the beneficiaries depleting their data balance based on the frequency set, against their wish. @ConsumersNCC @fccpcnigeria It's a shame that you have left @MTN180 @MTNNG to treat its customers with such negligence. If this directly affects MTN, MTN will fix it in a blink. Why would MTN provide a service and later remove it without option for customers to opt out of the service?

@MTN180 @ConsumersNCC @NgComCommission @fccpcnigeria Resolve globally for all your subscribers who used the service. They cannot remove the numbers as you removed the service totally. Not only the sample number provided. Delete all beneficiaries for everyone please.

That's if they will allow you. @fidelitybankplc restricted my account because they claim there is no phone number linked to my account whereas I filled indenmity form upon account opening to disabled sms alerts. Guess what? They even called me on the number on the account. they only thing that will take me to their banking hall is the day I will finally have the time to close the account.

Today, Nigerian banks will begin to charge 6naira per sms to all their customers. If you use a nigerian bank, Go on your app, or go to the bank; And disable all the sms alerts. Ask to get emails instead. As far as I’m aware, email alerts are free. Do not give your hard/earned money to these thieves that will use it to throw a white party at the end of the year that you can’t even attend.
