Day Four of Eleven days of Gratitude. I started this ‘business’ of web3 alone. It was hard, dark, but fun. It’s like spending your nights in a dark room, but you can hear the voices of other people. You feel like you are not alone, but you are still alone. There were days I doubted if I would ever win. I didn’t earn $100 until I was five months in And it felt like shit, it didn't stop me from comparing myself to dudes who had life going for them or were winning from InfoFi I didn’t even enjoy the money. The happiness I felt lasted a few hours at best. The money finished in 5 days I became broke again, full of doubts, and scared that I was alone. But I showed up every day, because ehhh, I didn’t have anything else. I trusted that things would be fine eventually. And it was, at a point. To get by, I hosted great spaces, made amazing content, and put my heart into it. Made wonderful friends. But I never earned. I only got by through writing gigs here and there, for which I was paid $50 for a post. Life was good for a while. Then life sucked. But I kept showing up. Someone once said, " Study how Tea shows up." Ha! Sure. I actually just didn’t know what else to do. But let’s leave dark and depressing thoughts to the past. I am here now, and I recognize my mistakes I am still learning every day. But I will be making changes. Verrry obvious ones, you see. I’m grateful I’m not a big fool in the end. Here is to winning yo. -Tea🍁

web3 didddd I owned my first tripod in September 2025 which I paid for from Web3 jobs I did. (I was using my PC as a stand before 😂 @KingDamilotun was there) I didn’t feel anything when I got this but looking back now. I’m truly grateful for opportunities and God’s provision 🧡 This tripod helped me win my first video bounty on Superteam. Day there.

@techie_vic a lot of the things that were discovered many years back - were discovered while they were experimenting. so your statement is true. we should literally become students - keep trying stuff, keep testing stuff and documenting 'em. enjoy your day fren

Fun fact about my daily mirror selfies. It's my accountability. I do them because getting dressed is my reset button. Working from home, weekends, low days, doesn't matter. If I get dressed, my brain believes the day is real. And if I post it, I've shown up twice! Yay me! What are your steps for accountability?

your value would be easier to prove when you've tasted it – yourself. look, there's a reason why we build our personal brands. no! it's not for resume or pow purposes – alone. but for compounded experiences. a person who's built their account from: 0 — well known voice has experiences a $1000 course can't tell a newbie. this is the importance of firsthand experiences. and it's why the struggle you face when learning and implementing is inevitable. said all of this to let you know that you should make yourself your first Labrat. the strategies and tips you post about, make sure you test them and see the result for yourself. if you're a writer? don't stop at writing. observe what works best from your own personal content.

so yeah, something interesting just happened i just got down from my cab, and a guy who sells belts walked up to me and stretched what he was selling towards me immediately, in my mind, i was like “if i even wanted to get this belt, where am i going to put it on?” because at that point i was clearly wearing a jalabiya and there’s no way i could wrap a belt around my waist like that to cut the long story short, i simply told him “don’t worry” then walked away that’s why it’s so important to meet your customers where they are, not where you want them to be you need to figure out - where they are at that particular moment - what situation they’re currently in - what they’re actively tryna solve then take a product they actually care about and meet them there because that’s what really determines whether what you’re bringing to them will make sense or not linking it back to what happened, i was literally wearing a jalabiya and it was very obvious there was no space for a belt, no use for it, no reason for me to even consider it so even without deep thinking or analysis, it was already clear that i was not the right person for that product at that moment it didn’t require strategy to see it, it just required awareness but instead, the product was still pushed to me, and in that situation, it automatically lost its relevance imagine if it was someone who didn’t have a belt, someone struggling with their trousers, someone who clearly looked like they needed one, or someone who wore trousers and might prolly need one and he presented that same belt to that person, they would see a reason to buy it because that’s exactly what they need but instead he brought something that mattered to a customer that didn’t care about it in that moment was the belt something people actually need? yes did i need it then? no so yeah, i believe you get the gist
