When you go in for surgery, they bombard you with endless questions about your health history. Yet they NEVER ask the one question that could save your life: “Did you get the COVID vaccine?” That’s insane—because the vaccine has been linked to blood clots, a major risk during any procedure. They won’t ask because the CDC still refuses to release the full data on COVID vaccines and blood clots. Why the silence?

@TomTelfer @LGA585 The coach also has to be flexible when his team lacks some basic talent. I don't expect similar output but I expect a different kind of leadership..one that has a pulse and one that doesn't make excuses. Guess I just don't like his style this year. Hope he doesn't return.

@tedpc1 @LGA585 This year is different because the team is far worse. How can you expect a similar output from the coach when the roster doesn’t have the same level of talent?

A 2nd playing of Mr Brightside might be a bit more energetic with a 5-3 lead vs previously being down 3-1.

Amerks just can't keep taking penalties against the Crunch. Their PK was outstanding but it will take its toll, like last night. Nice to get the first goal after all that though.

Paper saying 2 new rules for the Wings this year: moving 2nd base and ABS challenge...except ABS challenge isn't a new rule in AAA. So what gives?

@TomTelfer @LGA585 No, its this year. Totally different. Can't compare the two. And he wasn't wearing Sabres gear when addressing the media. He is so low key and apologetic, it just isn't the same for me, but don't compare the 2 seasons. If a guy hits .300 last year doesn't mean he'll do it again.

@LGA585 It was a tough but pretty much expected loss. You can't gift good teams chances in the 3rd period. Our guys were very good but they just can't make mistakes. A lot to ask but we used to be the team that won those games

@LGA585 @TomTelfer I respect my fine friends and Amerk fans. I also think that while its 100% true this roster is terrible, its naive to think the coach has 'nothing to do with' our lousy performance. Leadership is an important element; not the only one, but still part of the problem.

@salmaiorana Actually after the Bruins totally crapped the bed last night, I was shocked they came back to win this one. Never expected it at all. The entire Atlantic Div is so competitive, can't afford to lose even one game anymore.

Beyond that, the Sabres were not good in this game. Slop fest all night. I would imagine Ruff is gonna be hot after that one.

I dislike this platform, but had to say Bruins with a massive surprise OT win over the Sabres tonite. After that miserable loss last night, this was really needed. As a Bruins fan, I was not expecting much. But you never know.

For those who believe most the garbage that 'experts' post on Twitter is toxic..yeah probably true. Very true. Can't trust any of it anymore.

@LGA585 @TomTelfer I will agree to disagree. I don't think the coach is getting the most out of what he has. He is part of the problem. but I think we can agree this has been an awful 70th anniversary season.

I've learned to not trust or believe just about everything posted on twitter and everything posted on facebook. Everybody has a poll, or a survey, or an 'expert' and what is missing every time is truth.

@LGA585 @TomTelfer ok--so you guys are saying then that you are fine with the way he has coached the team this year. I'm not but I'm just one opinion. He reminds me too much of Gentle Ben. Plus he hasn't done anything about on ice leadership. Thats important to me. Should be to him too.

@tedpc1 @TomTelfer Fairly confident that coach speak with questions from the team reporter and in the locker room are two totally different things and have been for a long period of time.

@TomTelfer @LGA585 some of the players are not that young. You don't bury them. You are honest yet you show leadership they need to progress. Telling them how good they are during a long losing streak is not leadership. I'm not wired that way. Maybe others are. He doesn't impress me this year

@tedpc1 @LGA585 Most ppl asking the questions know the roster isn’t as good. These are young players he’s not going to come out and bury them because of the skills they don’t possess. This team works hard thy just aren’t the most talented. That’s all a coach can ask for.
