To all my newer followers, I make barrel boards as a way to meet potential clients interested in having one of a kind furniture pieces made. I have done custom built-in's and standalone furniture pieces as well as refinish older furniture pieces. I’ve even made kitchen islands.

@SevierlyBlessed We just came back from Terlingua and Big Bend. It’s magical there. We didn’t make it to Marfa (next time). Lots of great places to stay locally just depends on how much driving you want to do.

This Texan has never been to Marfa. We are thinking about a road trip to Ruidoso this summer with a stop over in Marfa for at least a night . Tips on where to stay or what to do while there would be appreciated. Just my husband and me- late August. Thanks!

Looks like heat index for tomorrow, here in SE OK, will be around 104°, but wind gusts up to 30MPH. Later tomorrow night, they are calling for 100% chance of rain. Nice!
