On Tuesday, Feb. 10th against Adair County, @CariannW30 recorded 10 blocks to go with 24pts and 20rbs (8th triple-double this season). She now has 744 career blocks, ranking her 2nd for All-Time in KHSAA history. Congrats CW!!

Big congrats to @Shelby_Sow50 for scoring her 1,000th point against Adair County last night. She is only the 13th player ever in Lady Cat Basketball history to score 1k points. Looking forward to many more. Love you Shelb!

Been a huge fan of Wright’s game for years now. A question for me was always motor. He’s playing his hardest and most physical games of basketball right now. Long and wiry. Good shot off the catch, excellent passer, handles pressure, finishes above the rim. Tap in!

2027 - 6’6 SG/SF Braden Wright (@brxdenwright) of Edmonson County (KY) is averaging 13.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game for the Wildcats. Underrated prospect in Kentucky’s 2027 class. NAIA’s & D3’s should be getting involved. Long wiry guard.

Edmonson County Notes: 2028 - 5’11 G Jonah Massey (@JonahMasseyECHS) looked really well moving the ball in transition and knocking down 3’s in drills. Massey plays really hard, and hasn’t seemed to get tired yet. With his long arms and wiry frame he could easily grow more.

If your GPA is between a 2.2 & 2.8 it's gonna be hard to find a home. No matter how good the film is. Your core GPA is super important. Grades matter

2027 - 6’6 SG/SF Braden Wright (@brxdenwright) of Edmonson County (KY) finished with 22 points, and 5 rebounds in a win over Breckinridge County. Wright is a fun prospect in the 3rd region. Good athlete, makes shots, facilities, and starting to play above the rim.

Coach John Calipari is absolutely spot on here. Why would a coach recruit and develop an American high school kid for 4 years when the system now rewards grabbing ready-made pros from overseas, the G League, or the NBA pipeline? If we don’t fix this, we’re killing the entire purpose of college sports.
