I was-I mean SHE was super excited for his first song but he never sang. He just searched his old songs on YouTube and played the music video of each one, he didn’t even sing along to them. The whole night I just stood there in disbelief thinking to myself, “Did I just spend 68 Grand on tickets to watch f*cking YouTube.” It’s not fair, and fans deserve a refund.” Yikes… 😬

@MODSUN There’s something to be said for people like Julian and Liam Gallagher, you literally have no idea what’s going to come out of their mouth between songs

Watching The Strokes at Coachella… It’s so refreshing to see a band talk in between songs. Julian’s banter is clearly unrehearsed + stream of thought which means a lot of it doesn’t land with the crowd…BUT that’s because a crowd has become so accustomed to hearing the same speech over n over OR no talking at all. Too many big artists are creating shows where they bleed every track into each other seamlessly…which in theory sounds great…BUT it takes all the human out of it. I’d rather hear a crowd go silent + seem a little awkward in between songs then watch a completely choreographed set that you know the artist has every move + speech planned. We need more real moments more than ever. Interested to hear the reception of The Strokes set cuz there’s a good chance people will say it was boring or stale or something when in all reality it was the realest set performed on main stage this year…as of right now. Bieber is next + I have high hopes he is gonna give a show FULL of real moments.

They also need t revamp their setlist. They won't be able to carry a tour of almost 2 years with these songs. Arirang songs are too underwhelming for a tour of this length. If it was a three months tour, it could work bcos then it would mean they are just promoting the new album.
