I was once trying to sleep on someone’s couch at 5am in a crack house coming down from doing wayyy too much cocaine and all I could hear in my head was this song on a hours long loop. Didn’t sleep a wink and now hearing this song literally gives me PTSD to that night

Unpopular opinion: The “greatest bands” conversation has been gatekept by a biased industry and there is no logical reason why 3 Doors Down, Goo Goo Dolls, and Matchbox Twenty should not be considered as good as or better than Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and The Rolling Stones.

I've read things before about Eric Clapton playing slow on the beat. People debate this back and forth, but everything I understand, which is little, is that this was on purpose. The whole approach is meant to slow things down and create a zen type flow of sounds. Masterful imo.
