I just gained my discord account back. I'm sorry to anyone that fell for the scammer while they were using my account. Stay safe all.

@JoCr2 I think my twitch account is ok now. So should my other accounts. Just gotta get my discord account back.

@thefailstream Keep us posted! Saw the real-time hack of your twitch (i.e. was in the stream before the hack started), was surreal to see happen right in front of us. Discord appeals could be done at support.discord.com/hc/en-us/reque… while Twitch has a way through its site. Hope your email/phone are okay

Some of my accounts have been hacked, including my discord and twitch, I don't know any other so far. Please be wary of any messages that come from me.

@MrMightyMouse1 Yea, it was Shovda actually lol. In retrospect it was obviously a scam, I think I was just too tired to properly scrutinize the message. As soon as I ran it I knew something was wrong and immediately checked Shovda's bluesky and saw that the discord account was compromised.

@thefailstream Was it from someone asking you to test their game? Nintendesi and Shovda both lost and recovered their accounts as well.

@CaptSarahRed Thanks Sarah. I'm working on recovering it, I think I've gotten control of all my main accounts, just cleaning up now.

@thefailstream Extra info, your discord server still exists. It just banned mods and people who spoke recently, I have confirmation from people still in there. Anyone who called the hacker out also got banned, so once you get back in it's minimal clean up work.

Gonna be checking out Myth II for Retro Fever tonight. I've never even seen it before and I have no idea what to expect. It's sequel to game of the year so it can't be bad right?

@GlitchCat7 Like a pinball machine that is a monitor and physics engine and has generalized physical components beneath to emulate the feel of a physical machine? Then you could just download new tables. Might not be exactly the same but I imagine you could come close.

@gojirra I haven't. Tbh I haven't played any strictly DnD based RPGs besides this and KoToR 1/2 (which I did enjoy, although it was long ago). I like that I'm getting a broad view of genres with this retro game marathon though. It's interesting and pretty fun.

The first Baldur's Gate is kind of dated with its interface and ai, but it still has a pretty satisfying gameplay loop. Very easy to lose track of the time and play for 7+ hours.
