Plus it’s the last season, the stakes are high as we saw in S5 E1

@themfjd0 @korysverse I like having stakes. TV shows like GOT killed off main characters and other characters that have yet to reach their peak ALL the time. In that show, the pattern of that happening prepared you for it, and it makes sense (until they saved their fav characters all the time)

Everytime the boys thought they couldn’t get homelander, they said “at least we can try neuman”. They killed her off bc she wouldn’t have been homelander’s puppet, unlike the president the have now

@themfjd0 @korysverse She was only semi important. She wasn’t a MAIN character. It’s frustrating because we were only just getting started with her character and what she could do to make the story interesting. Probably because any more stories with her would’ve been too hard to write

@korysverse Her death is what solidified S4 as the worst season ever, imo. It felt like her death was more for shock than anything, narratively nothing really came out of her death. Yeah, her husband found out and stopped working with them but that’s no real consequence.
