@theoldguy20 He never fought people in the first place. He was never a combative personality. Given his stature, he should be able to get what he wants to. Look at the other two stalwarts of Indian cricket. People or the team do not question them or their decisions. A lot of factors in play.

@Agd_1 fair, I’m unsure if Rohit would’ve wanted this. One could argue he should push the management, but we don’t know what’s happening at the deeper level….feels like he’s stopped fighting people, and started focusing only on himself. For good, or bad.

Been saying this for a while: Rohit Sharma isn’t legendary because of his numbers. He’s immortal because of what he did when others slow down. He’s superhuman for the impact that goes beyond scorecards. He’s a legend because he chose to evolve more than anybody else. Yes, it’s not just a cricket story. It’s a human story that lasts forever. On that metric? I pick Rohit over anyone. Very well written @the_cricketest
