@dwightswife Interesting. And thanks for explaining. The main reason I said saw as a lot of the later movies suffer from the issue of trading a weaker plot for more excessive executions and gore. I’m very disappointed that a major horror franchise would be promoting violence against women.

it’s not about gore, it’s about the type of gore being produced hence the two adjectives. the saw card is not a fair comparison as each scene is 1. not highlighting only the female characters death & 2. actually contribute to the plot & story unlike #that series which is just a splatter film

@Vulpixia Also I’d like to add u do think what he said is really bad and he should be called out for it but it’s not just. Theres people who’ve hurt themselves due to death threats. Either no one’s allowed or everyone’s allowed. We have to be better.

@Vulpixia I think two things can be bad at once and we shouldn’t justify death threats to any extent because when we justify death threats against someone you disagree with it makes it much easier for oppressors to use death threats because everyone else does it.

This is my biggest problem with Terrifier critique, none of the critics have seen the films and they out themselves EVERY single time anytime they say "No lore" or something. If someone actually watched the films and said "Yeah I think this sucks." then that's FINE.

@theMrHeadacheQ1 Imo the biggest problem in the dbd community is that instead of actually acknowledging that something is a problem it turns into a “yeah well what about this survivor perk” “or this killer perk” “you’re so bias to X role” as if multiple things can’t be an issue at once.
