When negotiations began at the beginning of this admin the red line was not zero enrichment, the zero enrichment talking point becoming policy via official Israeli engagement w/admin officials & pro Israeli media echoing it. Also, it’s a foolish policy because how do we enforce zero enrichment? It requires constant monitoring & eventually leads to the need for an invasion/regime change. If zero enrichment is the standard it’s hard to see us getting a deal with Iran.
