Disagreeing with people is a good way to reach a new point of view, so I don't really see any reason to block over disagreements. I do agree, though. It's very fresh, yeah :P

I'm not huge into deltarune and I'm fluent in english so it doesn't make sense for me to get mad at this, but I 100% understand the anger, even if I disagree with the methods.

It's just understandable to me because this happens so often and people are sick of it. For some people it was like rubbing salt on their wounds+

There are so many instances of similar situations and people just didn't wanna hear any of it when toby talked about localization. Does not justify anything but yea

What I've seen so far is entitlement, demanding instead of reasonably discussing it over. "We've waited long enough" one person told me, "I was reasonable for 10y"

I know it's unfair of me to say this, but I doubt you've ever done a localization job, ever. And do I even need to remind of you the horrendous job localizers sometimes output?

Hell, it tells you directly on, say, Steam, that this game only has specific languages for its text and such. It's never once hidden, therefore you're always in the know.

Lots of foreign media have been translated to es/pt-br while portraying the author's vision, why is deltarune that different?

And Toby has, as we've to notice with his reponse, not the slightest of knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese. And if he cannot verify a work himself, he cannot push himself to approve it officially. Which is why he said-

He sells his game here, just like anywhere else, so why should we be satisfied with nothing? If you satisfy yourself with nothing then it's a you issue.
