@darrenrovell @palmtreeguyz nice flex man, so cool that you have a 11 year old son that you let sports bet and watch twitch streams all day. hate to break it to ya but that’s not the Demo for ESPN jeopardy, if you’ve ever watched jeopardy you’d know that

Faze Rug (who?) Robby Berger (way too dumb to host a trivia show) Dude Perfect Guys (the audience is broader than religious middle school students) IShowSpeed (in what world is this a good idea?)
Darren Rovell@darrenrovell

Given that ESPN is struggling with a young audience, this is a very strange decision. There are so many better hosts that appeal to younger fans. Faze Rug Robby Berger Dude Perfect Guys IShowSpeed All better choices in this environment than Joe Buck, who turns 57 this week.

@darrenrovell @MoEgger Exactly….tiktok where a kids mental capacity is used up in 30 seconds before the next swipe. They’re not sitting down in front of a tv to watch network TV. If they’re in front of a TV at all they’re streaming something. This isn’t the Dino age you grew up in

You can have Joe Buck, who brings instant recognizability and who has called countless World Series and Super Bowls. Or you can have…. Faze Rug. I assume that’s a real person and not a made up name. Come on, man.

@Rob_Shenanigans @timkapottos Yes, it’s a statement that doesn’t logically follow as I’m talking my about process and underlying metrics, and you’re purely fixated on results. You’re now 0-2 on replying directly to a point of mine. And seemingly combative for no apparent reason. Your BA is worse than Bo’s

It's time to end the Bo Naylor Experiment. He's had 4+ seasons and over 1,000 at bats. That's a huge sample size. He's in his 5th year and he's batting .137 with an abysmal .416 OPS. I'm sorry to say, but Bo Naylor has no business being on a big league roster.

@Rob_Shenanigans The process is good. Isn’t chasing much, isn’t whiffing, hitting the ball hard…what do you suggest he does more? Place it between fielders a little better?

@darrenrovell its 10:34PM on a Tuesday, your wife is asleep, dreaming about what became of the man she married years ago. You sit on the recliner tweeting about a boy named Faze Rug, pleading he would be the better option for a younger audience. This is your life.

@darrenrovell Kids shouldn't need their hosts to be young. We grew up with Bob Barker, Alex Trebek, Mr. Rogers... I Show fucking Speed doesn't have a fraction of the talents that those guys have

The Golden State Warriors dynasty has come to an end — and Steve Kerr never developed any superstar talent since he was gifted with the team, 14 years ago, that was developed by Mark Jackson…. Now during this time, Kerr has won coach of the year, 4 NBA championships, and was the highest paid NBA head coach in the league… But, who exactly are the players that he developed since Mark Jackson was fired and blackballed from the league???

@HarrietEve9 Gary Payton ii, poole looked good. There's a lot of lesser talent that excelled in the offense. Eric paschall. Bogut and David Lee reached new heights. David west. Andrew Wiggins. Looney. This is Regency bias IMO. Mark Jackson did a lot. Kerr a lot too. Don't bash cuz hes down.

Got my head bit off by CU faithful for saying this last year … The NFL level is too physical & violent to be his frame and be effective on both sides of the ball for an entire season. It was never a knock on his talent. We all seen what he could do in college, but to think it was possible at the same level in the league? Stop it. Everyone’s a pro out there! This is the best move for him career wise and he’ll be a First Team All-Pro within the next 4-5 years as a CB watch ! #NFLNews

The Jaguars are officially making Travis Hunter a full-time cornerback, per @RapSheet. Hunter will have some gadget plays on offense, but no longer the 50/50 split as he did winning the Heisman at Colorado.

@burntoutviz @SuaKCravens Okie dokie. Id be happy with Graham Judkins Sampson and a 26 1st rounder instead of a slight, injury prone CB. But thats just me

@SuaKCravens He’ll be part time WR because there’s no need to play every snap when schemes are designed for runs and other players. If it had to do with what you’re saying then they wouldn’t have him part time at all, especially after injury. But yall love the “he cant” mentality 😂

Anyone else watching @TheMasters and feeling... jaded this year? Maybe I'm biased, but wish these guys were invited to take a crack at the green jacket. Don't get me wrong, I love Augusta and have been watching since the covid lockdowns. But the tradition of the tournament feels stale compared to this family of creators and what they built grassroots style on youtube.

@kibeandy They slowed down by skipping along the atmosphere. If they came straight in through they would die. You need to actually check the science behind it before you deny it. Lol

Let me dumb this down for you "learned folk'. A bullet does ~3,000 km/h. NASA says these guys hit Earth at 40,000 km/h — that’s 10+ bullets stacked together… but somehow slow down using parachutes and land safely in the ocean Uber Boat style? So a bullet shreds flesh instantly but a human in a metal flask can hit the atmosphere at 10× that speed, turn into a flying fireball, lose signal, cook the outside to hell and still land like it’s a beach holiday? But yeah… “trust the heat shield.” After this make sure you get your booster to fry your brain further
