Tiny Triumphs Manager Tom Larkin is once again conference programmer alongside the team at Qmusic to bring you the first-ever virtual BIGSOUND Festival in its 15-year history. Delegate passes are 100% FREE to support the music industry that has been devastated by COVID-19.

New Zealand-born brothers Zech Walters (guitar/vocals) and Eze Walters (guitar/vocals) struck up a friendship with Bowen Purcell (drums) after moving to Australia. In search of adventure, the three travelled around the country busking, before eventually settling in Melbourne.

Wrapping up a successful year with Party in the Paddock and a hit cover of @boniver’s “Hey, Ma” on Like A Version, The VANNS will go on another national tour in 2021, presented by triple j.

@the_vanns debut album, Through The Walls, released in 2019, was crowned feature album by @triplej in the week of Nov 3rd, and the release led to a series of sold-out shows including one at Sydney’s Metro Theatre.

Since their inception in 2013, @the_vanns have been crafting music that not only stirs up a melting pot of indie and alt-rock influences but delivers a fresh, modern sound that has seen them fast become one of the most in-demand young bands on Australia’s east coast.

Hein has been lucky enough to tour all over the world with the likes of @LukasGraham and @JamesBayMusic. Closer to home, Hein has performed at Falls Festival and was invited to perform on @triplej’s acclaimed Like A Version in 2019.
