So out of: Our 60+ HR, 9 WAR catcher going 0for with an almost tournament costing passed ball Our 10 WAR SS going 0for the last game with a .733 OPS the whole tourney Alex Bregman, Will Smith, Bryce Harper, Byron Buxton, and Cal Raleigh all having below a .650 OPS Our entire lineup being 3-30 with 3 walks in the last game Bryce Turang missing the tag on Sanoja off a good throw to 2B Whitlock walking Luis Arraez DeRo not using Miller and having our best hitter in the tourney ride the bench The guy with the .845 OPS (obviously not counting JRod taking a HR away from him) + two game saving defensive plays in two separate games was to blame more than anyone and anything because he was "the captain." 👍 Whatever helps everyone sleep at night I guess
