@evilbeerman Its this one for me. But the cleansing is number 2. Now that I think about it 2004-2008 had some serious bangers. Alot could be argued as most influential and none would be wrong. I think all of them collectively really did the influencing.

It starts off with introducing too many new characters and settings and there is a big time gap between 2 and 3 but by the midway point I was fully engaged with it again. Book 4 has been my favorite so far. Its all just so good. Can't put them down

But if you enjoyed the characters and the world in the show then I would 100% recommend the books. They did a good job with casting the show.
